Oliva, a well-known cigar manufacturer, is introducing a new cigar in celebration of the Chinese New Year, aligning with the zodiac symbol of the dragon. The Oliva Year of the Dragon is a Churchill-sized cigar, aligning itself with other brands that have released cigars commemorating the Chinese zodiac.
Cigar Specifications
This particular Churchill cigar features an Ecuadorian habano sun-grown wrapper, paired with a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. In contrast to other Year of the Dragon cigars announced by brands like Davidoff, Gurkha, Maya Selva, and VegaFina, Oliva’s Year of the Dragon will be exclusively sold through China Duty Free Group.
Availability and Pricing
The cigar is priced at $35 each, with boxes containing 10 cigars available at $350. Oliva has limited the production to 1,500 boxes of 10 cigars each. These cigars are expected to be available for purchase starting mid-February.
