The Tobacconist of Greenwich has introduced its latest cigar, Rare Finds Blend 1229-42, following the successful release of Rare Finds Blend 1011-42 last year. This new offering highlights the collaborative efforts of cigar experts in the field.
Owner Michael Cafagno has partnered with Master Blender Eladio Diaz for this release. Diaz is recognized for his extensive knowledge and creative approach to cigar blending, based out of his Tabacalera Diaz Cabrera.
“Our goal to explore and present unique flavors led us to collaborate with Master Blender Eladio Diaz, whose expertise in the cigar world is widely acknowledged,” said Michael Cafagno. “Rare Finds Blend 1229-42 is not just a cigar; it’s a reflection of craftsmanship and the dedication that Eladio has invested in his work over the years.”
About Rare Finds Blend 1229-42
The blend comprises Habano 2000, Corojo Original, Corojo 99, and Piloto Cubano fillers, encased in a Corojo 99 wrapper. This composition offers a complex and elegant profile, designed to enhance the smoking experience.
This cigar is presented in a 55 x 6 format with a shaggy foot, combining creamy and sweet notes with a touch of spiciness to engage the palate. Eladio Diaz described the aroma of the cigar as “Nothing Short of Heaven,” encouraging enthusiasts to experience a distinguished smoke.
Starting August 5, 2024, the Rare Finds Blend 1229-42 will be available for pre-order exclusively through the Tobacconist of Greenwich’s website. Priced at $49.50 per cigar, the release is limited to 200 boxes, totaling 10,000 cigars.
