Quesada Oktoberfest 2024: A Blend That Marries Tradition with Seasonal Celebration
Quesada Cigars has officially announced the return of its seasonal offering, the Quesada Oktoberfest 2024, a series that has garnered attention for its unique pairing with the autumnal festivity of beer tasting. Continuing a tradition that aligns with the celebration of Oktoberfest, Quesada has crafted this year’s edition to complement the rich flavors of Oktoberfest-style beers.
For the 2024 iteration, the Quesada Oktoberfest will maintain its signature composition, featuring a Mexican San Andrés wrapper encasing a blend of Dominican binder and fillers. This combination has been curated to match the medium plus profile of the cigars, aiming to balance seamlessly with the hearty flavors found in Oktoberfest beers.
This year’s lineup will see the return of three core sizes – Bavarian, Das Boot, and Über, alongside two additional vitolas, Kaiser Ludwig and Kugel, bringing the total to five distinct shapes for enthusiasts to enjoy. Each size offers a different experience, tailored to suit a variety of preferences:
- Bavarian (5 1/2 x 52) priced at $11.50 per cigar, available in boxes of 10 for $115.
- Das Boot (6 x 52) also at $11.50 each, with boxes of 10 at $115.
- Über (6 x 65), slightly larger, available at $12 per cigar, with boxes of 10 costing $120.
- Kaiser Ludwig (6 x 49), offered at $10 per cigar, available in boxes of 10 for $100.
- Kugel (5 x 38/58/44), a unique shape priced at $12, offered in bundles of 10 for $120.
The Kugel vitola stands out as an event-only option, with a limited run of just 100 bundles, emphasizing its exclusivity. Similarly, the other sizes will also see a limited production, with only 500 boxes available per size.
Raquel Quesada highlighted the dedication behind this annual release, noting the goal of creating a cigar that not only complements a favored drink among enthusiasts but also suits a wide range of occasions.
The Quesada Oktoberfest 2024 is set to be previewed to retailers at the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show in Las Vegas, running from March 23-25. Anticipation is high, with the cigars expected to hit stores in July, offering aficionados a timely celebration of craftsmanship and the spirit of Oktoberfest.
