Altadis U.S.A. to Launch Ultra-Premium Montecristo 1935 Edición Doble Diamante

Montecristo

Altadis U.S.A. is set to introduce its most exclusive Montecristo cigar yet at the upcoming PCA trade show in Las Vegas—the Montecristo 1935 Edición Doble Diamante, retailing at $150 per cigar.

Crafted under the expertise of Rafael Nodal, vice president of product capability for Tabacalera USA, the Montecristo 1935 Edición Doble Diamante boasts an unparalleled blend of aged tobaccos, with every leaf aged for a minimum of 10 years before rolling. Made in Nicaragua by A.J. Fernandez, the cigar features tobacco cultivated exclusively on Fernandez’s esteemed Nicaraguan farms, La Lilia and San Lotano.

In contrast to its predecessors, which are regular-production cigars, the Montecristo 1935 Edición Doble Diamante is a limited edition offered in a single Toro size, measuring 6 1/2 inches by 54 ring gauge. Limited to just 250 boxes, each containing 20 cigars, the total production amounts to 5,000 cigars. Each box doubles as a humidor, boasting a glossy piano finish.

Retailers purchasing a box of the Montecristo 1935 Edición Doble Diamante will receive a diamond-shaped decanter set.

Anticipated to hit shelves in the last week of April, this release promises aficionados an exquisite smoking experience crafted from the finest aged tobaccos, embodying the pinnacle of luxury within the Montecristo portfolio.
